Previously a consultant for one of the top weight loss companies in the country, I now work with clients privately to help them achieve their health goals. I have a master's degree in psychology from New York University, and am working on a second master's degree in nutrition at Bastyr University in Washington. My own history with food has had plenty of ups and downs, as I'm a recovering binge eater. I work hard to maintain a twenty pound weight loss, and am now following a gluten-free diet. You can read more about my weight loss and history with bingeing here and here and read about why I eat gluten-free here.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you enjoy it!

I love your blog! I recently had a blood test that showed I had multiple food allergies and will be meeting with an allergist to discuss further allergy testing. I am trying to eliminate wheat/gluten/barley/rye and cow's milk dairy from my diet based on the blood test, but I love these foods so much and it has been so tough to eliminate them. I know I need to eliminate them to see how I feel. I have a feeling I am going to feel so much better.
I have a MSW and have often thought about getting an MS in nutrition and combining the two. I think I need to get my own nutrition in order before I can even think about making a career out of it! I will be following along and look forward to trying out your recipes!
Hi!
Gluten-free waffles?!!!! I make regular waffles for my son every few weeks and freeze - I find I am eating too many of them. I think I need to cut out gluten and I’m so thankful I came across your blog via Christine Kane’s blog. Thank you so much for the recipes. I know I’ll be back to your blog often!

Love the goal of your blog! Having (as you put it) a "healthy and happy relationship with food" is such an important part of a good life. It's so easy to eat too much . . . too little . . . think too much about it . . . or too little! I love how much the food blogging community focuses on natural, healthy recipes. Keep it up!
