I haven't written here in quite some time now, but I want to leave one final post to wrap everything up. I'm no longer going to be blogging here, but don't worry...I'll keep the blog and all the recipes up for you.
Let's start with two tidbits of exciting news:
One, remember Shannon, from The Gluten Free Health Challenge? She joined after finding out that her problems with conceiving had likely been due to undiagnosed Celiac Disease. Well... after six months of eating strictly gluten free, she is pregnant, healthy, and in her second trimester! She's in our Gluten Free Facebook Group, so I'm sure she'll keep us posted there if you want to join us.
Two, remember Blue Eyes and Romantical Fridays? If you missed the story of our courtship, you can still read it here, but more importantly, I'm excited to tell you that Blue Eyes and I are also having a baby! I'm just about out of my first trimester and didn't want to end this blog without telling you. In a few months, we'll be moving to Prescott, Arizona to have our baby there. If you'll recall, we moved to Missouri last year, which ultimately was not the right place for either of us, and I am ready for warmth, sunshine, and a new beginning.
p.s. If you live near Prescott, let me know! I would love to have some gluten free friends (or just friends, period) when I get there!
Now, I'm going to leave you one last recipe, which I originally posted at Your Fairy Angel. It really doesn't make sense with the rest of my content there, and deserves to be on my recipe list over here. So tomorrow I'll be posting the Paleo Zucchini Coconut Waffle Wraps as my actual last post.
From now on, you can find me at Your Fairy Angel. I know there are tons of wonderful gluten free blogs out there for you to follow, and I no longer feel like my heart is in recipe development. Ultimately, my healing has come from taking many steps, becoming gluten free being one of them, learning self-hypnosis and meditation being another very important one. So while I still follow a gluten free diet, I want to share with you other ways you can work on healing your body. I'll be writing more about health through the lens of meditation, hypnotherapy, and body image, as well as holding group programs like The Body Love Cleanse.
Thank you for 4+ years of gluten free blogging. It has changed my life, and I am so glad to have all you be a part of that.
